The hardest person to help is someone who thinks, 'I’m only struggling because I don’t know the right methodology, so if you just tell me the method, I’ll be fine.' The first thing that has to change is their perception of reality.

The hardest person to help is the one who thinks, "I'm only lost because I do not know the right methodology, so if you just tell me the method, everything will be fine."

That is a collaboration between impatience and foolishness. The first priority has to be recognizing that the real problem is their perception of reality. Only after that can anything else begin to move.

When I truly do not want to waste time or energy, I sometimes just hand over the method and leave. But even then, I can already see very clearly the path of failure they are about to take.
