AI Arbitrage While the Window Is Open

A note arguing that AI creates a temporary arbitrage window for repeatedly trying probabilistic work that used to be closed.

One of the requirements or methods for creating success is "exploitation." Looking at the past centuries, it was hard to become an advanced country without colonial exploitation, and hard to become a large company without labor exploitation. Exploiting humans has major side effects, so later various laws merely check it and move society toward balance.

What we can try now, with AI, is "exploiting AI." Many deterministic approaches have become probabilistic, which means there are now things that open if you knock and knock again. For the time being, this will also become a criterion for what kind of person to hire: someone who is good at exploiting AI. Someone who can exploit it well with fewer tokens.

This window will close soon, so we should do it while we can. AI arbitrage.
