Yesterday, during a short phone call, someone asked me about the pros and cons of solo entrepreneurship that actively uses AI. This is how I answered.

Someone with sound mental health and a clear goal can work with 100 or 1,000 AI agents without a problem. AI is such a powerful and essential tool for entrepreneurship that I feel grateful for it every day I use it. But for a first-time founder, or for someone who lacks experience and has not yet established sound criteria for judgment, relying only on AI may actually make the path more difficult.

You must be able to tell whether an AI agent is doing the work correctly and according to your intent, then continually improve it as a system. The main ingredients for that ability are hard-won experience, taste and sensibility, and conviction about the future grounded in them.

AI accelerates everything. Tenacity, perseverance, and resilience have always mattered to founders, but a team's development capabilities often kept those qualities out of the spotlight. The AI era now demands them directly.
