In 2023, at the suggestion of woojung kim, I had my first coffee chat with Taeho Kim, who had just left Karrot. From that very first meeting, we clicked, and one of the many topics we discussed was longevity. We talked at length about NR, which raises NAD+ levels, continuous glucose monitors, and how Taeho measured and optimized his sleep, nutrition, and exercise. At the time, he had not decided what he would build at all, but looking back, his direction already seemed clear.
We brought him on as an EIR at Kakao Ventures throughout 2024 and 2025. While preparing to start his company, Taeho gave both large and small forms of help to many of our portfolio founders. In some cases, he went remarkably deep: identifying the root cause of a problem, rolling up his sleeves to help with organizational management and even coding when needed, and guiding founders until their perspectives and behavior changed in the process.
Now Taeho Kim's Tab0 is setting sail. It is a one-person team, but he uses AI so effectively—and understands its limits so well—that I can imagine it becoming a solo, or potentially small-team, unicorn capable of producing the impact of dozens of people. He is also the most persistent person I know when it comes to measuring and turning into data the variables that affect his sleep, nutrition, and exercise in order to optimize himself. That is why I believe he is uniquely capable of realizing a personal digital twin and, beyond that, Personal Decision Intelligence built on top of it.
I sincerely support Tab0's journey. Thank you for building it with us!
